ReaderCon Report (+ giveaway!)

It’s been a week, but I still can’t believe the 3rd Filipino ReaderCon is over after many long months of preparation! There was, of course, the (now) annual Filipino Readers’ Choice Awards, which ensured our lean, mean, little machine team had more than enough work to do in the last six months, but we were totally excited for the rest of ReaderCon, too!

Ready for ReaderCon!

I’ve been working really hard on my booth for the Book Reco Fair at the Filipino ReaderCon for weeks now, and I can’t believe it’s finally happening on Saturday! Squee! Finally, the work of my poor cramped hands (!) over many sleepless nights will see the light of day.

Tintin Mouse!

I have a bunch of posts lined up for the weekend, but for now (because I will be late to GeekFight) I want to show you my new pal.

I was itching to paint something (I haven’t felt like painting in two years!) and broke open this blank Mickey Mouse figure my brother gave me on my last birthday. It’s been sitting on my shelf for months, and I’d been thinking about what to do with it.

Giveaway: Sign Language Vintage Alphabet Stamps

I can never go into a bookstore and come out empty-handed. Even when I challenge myself to hold off on buying books, the stationery junkie that I am can’t help wandering in the supply aisles and I end up spending a small fortune on stuff I tell myself I’ll eventually find use for. Just the other day I got myself a binding machine, but I’m getting ahead of myself; that’s another story! Haha.
