Tinker Tales: The Making + Opening Night
We finally opened Tinker Tales, Ang INK’s 25th anniversary exhibit, at the Ayala Museum last night! There were so many people who came to opening night; it was truly overwhelming and gratifying for everyone who put so much effort into getting this exhibit ready for the general public.

It’s Ang INK’s 25th anniversary, and you’re all invited to the opening night of Tinker Tales tomorrow, Sept 12, at the Ayala Museum! It’s been years since I last joined an INK exhibit, and I’m super excited to have a piece on show (and it took me over a month to complete) alongside over 200 wonderful works by my fellow INKies. INK on Paper + Alterno
Catch children’s illustrators group Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK)’s two exhibits this month: the ongoing INK on Paper, which runs until June 30 at the Prism Gallery, Legaspi Village, Makati; and Alterno, which runs from June 26 to July 3 at Shangri-la Plaza Mall.
Call for Entries: PBBY Alcala Prize, Ang INK Applications
This year’s Alcala Prize, the annual illustration honor given by the Philippine Board on Books for Young People (PBBY), is now open for entries.
The winner, to be awarded on National Children’s Book Day on July 21, will receive a cash prize of P25,000, a gold medal and an opportunity to be published.
