Reading something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue
We finally opened Tinker Tales, Ang INK’s 25th anniversary exhibit, at the Ayala Museum last night! There were so many people who came to opening night; it was truly overwhelming and gratifying for everyone who put so much effort into getting this exhibit ready for the general public.
It’s Ang INK’s 25th anniversary, and you’re all invited to the opening night of Tinker Tales tomorrow, Sept 12, at the Ayala Museum! It’s been years since I last joined an INK exhibit, and I’m super excited to have a piece on show (and it took me over a month to complete) alongside over 200 wonderful works by my fellow INKies. I’m scheduled for an interview, so I’m reading her books in preparation, starting with her children’s story, Liesl and Po.
Children’s illustrators’ group Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK) celebrates 20 years of Philippine Children’s Book Illustration with “20 Taon,” an exhibit at Ayala Museum, which opens tomorrow night and runs until Jan 15.
