Reading something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue
The Hunger Games movie is well under way, and my dismay has been growing with each casting announcement from the production. While I’m eager for a Hunger Games fix, I’m not so sure the film will live up to my expectations.
I received an electronic ARC of the book, The Girl Who Was on Fire a few months back, and I’ve been reading bits and pieces of it a few times each week.
A curious little thing made its way to my desk this morning, in a mysterious white envelope with my name on it…
I opened it and let out a squeal of delight — it’s a limited edition Mockingjay leather bookmark! :)
Thanks to all those who joined the Mockingjay giveaway. I’m sure you’re all eager to find out who the lucky winner is, and I’ve finally (figuratively) drawn the name out of the hat!
I meant to do this earlier, but September is always the busiest month in my year so this month’s posts have been sporadic at best…
Anyway, I have an extra copy of Mockingjay, the final book in the Hunger Games trilogy, a complimentary copy from Scholastic (because I co-moderated the discussion at the Mockingjay launch party), so I’m raffling it off.
