Last year, one of my most memorable interviews was that with YA author Lauren Kate for the National Book Store Fallen event, and I even had the pleasure of bringing along 12-year old Daniela to meet her favorite author!

This July, National Book Store brings back New York Times bestselling author Lauren Kate, author of Fallen and Torment, to launch Passion, the third installment in her supernatural romance series Fallen.

Suplado Tips

Geronimo Stilton Fan Convention

 

Because of the exponentially growing fan base of Geronimo Stilton in the Philippines, National Book Store and  Scholastic (Geronimo Stilton publisher) have teamed up for an exciting event. Geronimo Stilton, the beloved book character of the bestselling series, is having a fan convention on May 14 (Saturday), 1 pm to 5 pm (registration starts at 11 am) at the Glorietta 5 Atrium!

39 Clues: Vespers Rising

The first book I read for the FFP 24-Hour Readathon was Vespers Rising, book #11 of the 39 Clues series, which I was reading for the launch party organized by Scholastic Philippines and National Book Store the next day.

I was eager to read this book after I finished book 10, Into the Gauntlet by Margaret Peterson Haddix, because I wanted to see Dan and Amy return for their next adventure! I originally thought Vespers Rising was the first book in the second 39 Clues series, but it turns out it’s actually the “bridge book” that links the two parts together.
