Because of the exponentially growing fan base of Geronimo Stilton in the Philippines, National Book Store and Scholastic (Geronimo Stilton publisher) have teamed up for an exciting event. Geronimo Stilton, the beloved book character of the bestselling series, is having a fan convention on May 14 (Saturday), 1 pm to 5 pm (registration starts at 11 am) at the Glorietta 5 Atrium!
To enter the convention, present a valid receipt of any Geronimo Stilton chapter book purchased at any National Book Store branch from April 14 to May 14, 2011 at the on-site registration area.
Fun activities await Geronimo Stilton fans: a book discussion (“My Favorite GS Adventure”), an open art exhibition (see mechanics below), and on-the-spot storyline writing contest, a giant rope maze (!), a photo booth (sponsored by Canon Philippines) with a Geronimo Stilton photo wall (with face holes!), a special raffle, a refreshment area with cheese-flavored snacks (yummm — Oishi cheese snacks and Arce Dairy cheese ice cream), parlor games, and for the closing ceremony: a meet and greet with Geronimo Stilton, and a book-signing session!
For kids looking to complete their Geronimo Stilton collection, all Geronimo Stilton titles will also be sold on-site at the National Book Store Booth.
For the Open Art Exhibition, customers can submit their entries (Best cover art of a Geronimo Stilton Philippine adventure) to the customer service of any NBS branch until May 10, 2011.
