Reading something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue

Hello from MIBF! I know you’ve been waiting for my annual Day One report! Apologies for the delay; I was tied up from opening to closing yesterday, and had very little time to scope out.

We finally opened Tinker Tales, Ang INK’s 25th anniversary exhibit, at the Ayala Museum last night! There were so many people who came to opening night; it was truly overwhelming and gratifying for everyone who put so much effort into getting this exhibit ready for the general public.

It’s Ang INK’s 25th anniversary, and you’re all invited to the opening night of Tinker Tales tomorrow, Sept 12, at the Ayala Museum! It’s been years since I last joined an INK exhibit, and I’m super excited to have a piece on show (and it took me over a month to complete) alongside over 200 wonderful works by my fellow INKies. Hope to see you there!

The Manila International Book Fair, the country’s biggest and longest running book fair, is just one month away, from Sept. 14-18 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

I’m back! Sorry this has taken a while but I lost the original entry and had to reconstruct it.
All for the best, however, as the blog’s been transferred to a new server so there should be less issues pulling up the page from hereon out.
So, here it is, in case you missed my feed flooding on July 31st, here’s how our day went.
