October 6 marked the worldwide release of the illustrated edition of Harry Potter, and fans all across the world are reliving the magic of J.K. Rowling’s beloved series through the wonderful illustrations of Jim Kay.

As you may have read in my previous post, my cousin and I have been looking forward to this since it was announced, and this post is so late because I just got off Facetime with her, wherein I thumbed through each page in front of my ipad so we could celebrate the release together, as the book isn’t available (yet) where she’s based right now.

Exploring the new #Pottermore

Pottermore - Home - Mozilla Firefox 9232015 50229 PM-001My cousin Dianne and I have been on a Harry Potter high since our Harry Birthday party in July. If you don’t know us (yet), our shared love of Harry Potter is one of the cornerstones of our relationship (actual blood relation aside), and now that she’s moved out of town, tickling the sleeping dragon (e.g. our Harry Potter fandom) has been a great way of dealing with separation anxiety.

#MIBF2015: Day 1 Report

IMG_6910

Just got home from Day 1 of the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF)! Opening day is always my busiest (this year more than the recent ones after a series of delays in the morning), and my feet are sore and my arms are aching, so I’ll let the photos do the talking, hmm?
