The word “squee” just made it into the Oxford Dictionary this month, and about time, too, as the book shopping season is upon us (my favorite time of the year, right up there with Halloween), starting with the annual National Book Store Cut-Price Sale! SQUEE!
Palpitations!!!
Tomorrow marks the start of National Book Store’s biggest book sale of the year, with discounts up to 70% off on bestsellers, sequels, and new releases from Aug. 30 to Sept. 8 in all National Book Store and Bestsellers branches.
I shouldn’t be thinking about book shopping, considering I just spent what seemed like an endless week packing books into boxes to go into storage. But sigh, now I have all this free shelf space screaming to be filled (*maniacal laugh*) and my stress levels are right at the point that only some serious book shopping can remedy.
10 days. As many branches as I can hit? Now that’s a plan. See you at the bargain bins! :D
