Tonight…

… the ten thousand things I have to do  before the year ends will just have to wait.

I’ll be at National Book Store’s The Adventures of Tintin premiere!

I’ve been a big Tintin fan ever since I learned to forage for the comics  in the grade school library, and The Secret of the Unicorn and Red Rackham’s Treasure are among my favorite books in the series.

I’ve been waiting for this movie for ages, and I can’t wait to see it. Will it live up to my expectations? Will it make me want to reread the Tintin books one after another? Or, blistering barnacles — will I come out regretting I watched it? I really hope not.

I’m watching with a fellow Tintin addict, too — my cousin Dianne — so we should be engaged in some post-film analysis afterwards, hehehe. I’ll let you know what I think when I can get my thoughts together after tonight.
