Pardon the week-long lull, it’s been a busy week! The National Children’s Book Day festivities just wrapped up — #NCBD2015 was a blast!
I’m still in recovery mode (haha and yeah, I’m planning more shenanigans next week), so here’s how I celebrated NCBD, in photos.

I came from the Philippine Children’s Book Summit today (and promptly fell asleep as soon as I got home) so the reportage will have to wait until after Saturday’s NCBD Fair.

National Children’s Book Day is fast approaching!
Every year, the Philippine Board on Books for Young People (PBBY) spearheads the celebration of National Children’s Book Day on the 3rd Tuesday of July to commemorate the publication of Jose Rizal’s “The Monkey and the Turtle” on Trubner’s Oriental Record in London.
This year’s celebration is entitled, “Umuulan ng Libro,” because while it’s been raining all over the metro, it’ll rain books on National Children’s Book Day.
We’re celebrating National Children’s Book Day on July 21 (annually, the 3rd Tuesday of July) to commemorate the publication of Jose Rizal’s “The Monkey and the Turtle” on Trubner’s Oriental Record in London.
Every year, the Philippine Board on Books for Young People (PBBY) spearheads this celebration, and there’s lots to look forward to this year, starting with this blog tour.
