Joey is reading Love You Forever, a timeless story about a mother’s love for her child, and how the child grows up to pass on this love to his own child.
I finally have a copy because it turns out I got one as an exchange gift from the INK Christmas party (thanks Nic!) and I squealed in delight when I found out. I’ve been wanting a copy of this book ever since the Friends episode, and I’m glad I didn’t have to buy it at full price.
Haha, now I can’t seem to be able to read it without the Joey accent!

my copy: paperback, from exchange gift
my rating: 5/5 stars
One of my favorite children’s books. Used to get teary eyed whenever I read this. But the funniest memory I have of it was when, during a teacher training seminar, someone read it, and majority of the participants started grabbing tissue to dab their eyes and blow their noses. Then the reader’s voice started breaking cause she was crying, too. It was funny, but also touching.
Now I read it to my son. It’s called propaganda.:P
Honey: “propaganda” — I love that! Must remember that for the future, hahaha.
Silently or aloud,I can’t read this book without breaking into fresh tears everytime. The author is a genius! This book so simple yet it can touch the hearts of both young and old. Also one of my favorite children’s books.
And yes, fatanghiro, propaganda is right. Ha, ha! I’ve read it many times to my son, too…;)
I really must try the propaganda out someday!
nakakatawa eto din yun pinangregalo ko sa exchange gift sa INK christmas party pero si Pergy ang nabunot ko.
Ray-ann: ang galing naman, more than 1 copy of this book went around during the Christmas party!
