The Mockingjay Launch Party, in photos

The article I wrote on the Mockingjay launch party came out on the Manila Bulletin last Saturday, but since I already blogged about the Quarter Quell LARP, I’ll just share a bunch of photos instead. Check out this awesome day of bookish fun!

I’ll be giving away a copy of Mockingjay here within the week, watch out for it! :)

  1. Aww!! How great could it have been for me if I was able to finally meet you guys and, of all events, at a major book launch! Glad we’re on the same team though. :P

Oh, and that’s not how I imagined the nation of Panem is divided into districts. I always envisioned the Capitol at the very center because, well it just makes sense to me. Or maybe I’m wrong and I just forgot how it was really described in the first book, if at all. Haha!

    1. That’s right, we still haven’t met you! :) Let me know if you’re going to the MIBF this year.

The map reminds me of the map in Battle Royale. Of course, the mapmaker’s guess is as good as any of ours :D A Capitol in the center would have been easier to attack, so I don’t think it would have been in the center. And remember the train Katniss and Peeta took to the games passed through all the other districts because they were from 12?
