The 39 Clues: Vespers Rising Launch Party!

Attention 39 Clues fans!

Scholastic and National Book Store are holding a launch party for The 39 Clues: Vespers Rising on April 9, 2011, 3 pm, at NBS Bestsellers!

Vespers Rising, the first novel in the second 39 Clues series: Cahills vs. Vespers, is penned collaboratively by Rick Riordan, Peter Lerangis, Gordon Korman, and Jude Watson. Seven books are planned for the series in the next two years, and the pool of authors includes Roland Smith, Linda Sue Park, and David Baldacci!

A book talk and trivia contest are planned for the fans, and exciting prizes, such as NBS gift packs, Scholastic gift certificates, and copies of Vespers Rising await fans. And surprise, surprise, I will be moderating the book talk! :)

I’m excited for this next series, and for this particular book, because it’s a four-author collaboration! I wonder if Dan and Amy are returning as the protagonists in this book… I miss Saladin! And who are the Vespers?!? I guess we’ll all find out soon enough!

In the meantime, I’ll do my homework (never has homework been this fun for me!) this weekend:

Squee! See you at the party!

Quite entertaining, Iya. Action-packed and tied in with historical and cultural figures and places, and lots of clues to crack. Good for mystery lovers, amateur sleuths, and travel/geography buffs.
