Reading something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue
When it comes to bookmarks, my philosophy is one can never have too many. I must have hundreds stashed away all over the house and even at my office, and yet for some reason I still manage to find myself in inopportune moments where I have to use a receipt or a table napkin to mark my place in a book (crazy, right?).
It’s been a while since I showed you bookmarks from my collection, and I realized I’ve amassed quite a few neat ones in the last couple of years, so here they are!
A curious little thing made its way to my desk this morning, in a mysterious white envelope with my name on it…
I opened it and let out a squeal of delight — it’s a limited edition Mockingjay leather bookmark! :)
I meant to do this earlier, but September is always the busiest month in my year so this month’s posts have been sporadic at best…
Anyway, I have an extra copy of Mockingjay, the final book in the Hunger Games trilogy, a complimentary copy from Scholastic (because I co-moderated the discussion at the Mockingjay launch party), so I’m raffling it off.
