This was definitely one of the busiest years of book fair for me, and I’m still in post-MIBF recovery (and back to work), but as promised, here’s the last installment of my #MIBF2016 posts.
Just a few scenes from this weekend that I got to drop in on:
Aki, the MIBF mascot
Manix Abrera signing books at the Meganon Comics booth
The Muggle Wall!
the neverending stream of people
The Moymoy Lulumboy launch
booksigning with Russ!
partyin’ like it’s July 31
Rio Alma and Abi
Morgan Matson in Manila
And finally, the rest of the stash:
Not as bad as I feared…
Minus the shopping requests from other people, and in addition to my stash from the first three days of MIBF, here are the rest of the books I got:
the third installment of Moymoy Lulumboy — must catch up on this series (Lampara)
Love the art on this one! (Comic Odyssey)
grabbed near closing on the last day, mainly because I’ll need this for a Halloween party. (NBS)
I’ve been eyeing this for a while (NBS)
Cat. Jack-o-lanterns. Drawing. (Megaviz)
Among my favorites from this year’s haul: the beautiful Elpidio and Alicia — review soon! (National Historical Commission)
It’s possibly packed lunches for the rest of the month (ha!) but no regrets. See you at MIBF 2017!
