Missy picks a winner! (Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats giveaway)
A couple of weeks ago, I put up my very first giveaway: a copy of Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats.
I enjoyed the book immensely both as a cat lover and a reader, so I decided to give my extra copy away.
And now, read about the rigorous drawing process (haha!) and the results!
I wanted my cat Missy to choose the winner so I wrote out all the names on sticky notes and tried to see if Missy would pounce on any of them, but alas, she didn’t seem to be in the mood…
So I stuffed the entries in a bag of catnip and shook it around:
… And when I sprinkle the entries on the floor, she goes crazy!

And with some difficulty I managed to retrieve the winning entry before she could chew it up:

I read T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats last year and found out it was the book on which the musical Cats was based. I didn’t think I would get to see the musical on its Manila run because the tickets are fabulously expensive, but a couple of orchestra tickets magically fell into
