Free book writing seminar

To those looking into getting their own written work published, there’s a free book writing seminar scheduled this Thursday, Nov. 24, 5-7 pm at the Filipinas Heritage Library.

In celebration of National Book Month, the National Book Development Board and Central Books is hosting a book writing workshop featuring the multi-awarded author Isagani Cruz.

Mr. Cruz has written or edited over 50 books as well as numerous plays, essays, biographies and short stories, and has received awards from all over the globe for his contributions to literature, including the prestigious Carlos Palanca Awards in Literature. He will cover everything you need to know about getting your thoughts in your head to the store shelves; touching on basic writing points like how to choose title for your future book, to more advanced concerns such as publishing and selling your soon-to-be best-seller.
