Hi Jam- We generally use surface mail for our packages – that’s minimum of P80 (250g) to P300 (up to 1kg). You can choose to send locally or internationally naman eh.

Making real life bookmooch friends was easier for me because most of us are also part of another book club

And yeah, you’re right, I’ve discovered more titles by checking out the inventories (and wishlists!) of other moochers!

YES I have also had sturdy canvas bags bust a handle, slide Bookmooch cards in my books I send out, stockpile anything that could be used as shipping material and have more books on my To Be Read shelf than any real person could read in 5 years

Maybe it is because I live in a smaller city, but I have yet to make any In Real Life friends on Bookmooch.

One benefit I didn’t see if you explicitly mentioned was the ability to get ideas on good books from first hand accounts, and when you find a person with similar tastes you can find new books by browsing their inventories!
